About Due Date Calculation
Our due date calculator uses the standard Naegele's rule for pregnancy estimation, which adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). This method is most accurate for women with regular 28-day cycles.
How It Works
The calculator estimates your due date based on medical standards. Only about 5% of women deliver on their exact due date, but most deliver within 2 weeks before or after.
Accuracy
For women with irregular cycles, conception date or early ultrasound measurements may provide a more accurate due date estimation.
Trimesters
Pregnancy is divided into three trimesters: First (weeks 1-12), Second (weeks 13-27), and Third (weeks 28-40+). Each has unique developmental milestones.
